Walk In The Spirit

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (NKJV)
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

If you are not believing your pastor is teaching truth then why do you continue to sit under his teaching?

The more we listen to a message, the more we believe what it being said. By association with others way of thinking we begin to think like they do. Some might call this brainwashing.

Be careful if others are twisting what you were taught...

We are to be washed in the blood of Jesus not brainwashed by someone promoting their slant on truth.

Isn’t this what satan has been doing forever? He is a thief and a liar. All he does is attempt to steer us onto a path of destruction. It so easy to fall into his traps.

Walking in the flesh is walking right next to the enemy by our own strength.

Walking in the spirit is allowing Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. It is looking to Jesus in every decision and not intellectually trying to decide how Jesus would handle it.

Walking in the spirit is giving Holy Spirit permission to show us the way to go, the words to speak, the path to take.
