Relationship

I believe God looks to our relationship with Him. I believe He looks to our obedience to those tasks He asked us to do while we were here on earth. And if we were content with what we had.~DickEvans.org

Walk In Truth

We need to continue to walk in His truth, living by His Word. We need to trust that His plan for us will come to fullness as we do so.~DickEvans.org

Exercise

We need to exercise our spiritual muscles all the time. We do that by getting into God's written word, by praying without ceasing and by being a witness of Him in the marketplace daily.~DickEvans.org

Choice

Salvation is a choice followed by a step of faith. Walking out our salvation takes effort. And it is in that walk that we gain understanding. Walk a little more each day.~ DickEvans.org

Our Record

We are given a second chance. This time we are born with absolutely no sin. We have a chance to start over with Jesus by our side and the Holy Spirit living inside. With our eyes on Him, how can we take the wrong path again? Our record can stay clean.~ DickEvans.org

His Promises

Jesus intercedes on our behalf with the Father. But what we ask for must be in line with His will. He grants everything He promises if we ask. How do we know what those promises are? They are all in His Word. All we have to do is read it and He will reveal it to us. His promises are plentiful. It is time we knew what they all were.~ DickEvans.org

Choose

Even with the spirit of Christ living inside of us, we have the power to choose. We choose to die to our earthly condition and let Him work through us. Or we choose to keep control over everything leaving. Isn't it time to choose death to yourself so others can see His light, so others can find the freedoms He has given to us? ~ DickEvans.org

Be Available

We need to be available when others need us. Now don't get me wrong. I don't mean that we let others take so much of our time that we have none left for ourselves or our relationship with God. We need healthy boundaries. We need discernment to know the difference between another in need and one who just wants all of our time. Christ gave up His life so we could live in eternity with Him. Isn't it time for us to do the same for others?~ DickEvans.org

It's A Fine Line

Years ago the line between good and evil used to pretty thick. It was obvious what was good. You knew when the line was about to be crossed. Now it is a very fine line, and the only way to know is to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling you. Listen for His still small voice directing your every path. Do what He tells you to do and there will be no doubt. ~ DickEvans.org

Relationship

It is not about religion. It is about a relationship, relationship with our Father God. When that is first on our 'to-do' list each and every day, we are focused in the right direction. It is in that relationship that we grow in Truth. It is there that we can be transformed more each day into His nature.~ DickEvans.org

Be His Vessel

The Kingdom of God is for each and every one of us right now. We don't have to wait until we pass on to the next place. He wants us walking with Him today. He wants others to understand the truth about God's great kindness. He wants us to be His vessel to reach the lost and touch them while we are still on this earth. ~ DickEvans.org

Thanks

We thank God for all He has done in our lives. We thank Him for the love we have for each other, for the prosperity that is unfolding in each of our lives. We thank Him for our spouses, our children, and our mothers and fathers still with us. ~ DickEvans.org

Holy Spirit

Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to be there for us. He will guide us through all tribulations. He will direct our steps in the good times and in troubled times. Let's turn to Him first.~ DickEvans.org

Forgiven

Being a believer does mean that all our sins have been forgiven. But that does not give us a license to continue to sin. When we turn our hearts to Him, our sin is as far from Him as the east is from the west. But even as we try not to sin, we just can't seem to help it. Thank God for His Love and Grace. ~ DickEvans.org

Reach Out Today

As we go out into the world and preach the good news, He works with us. As we step out in faith, He shows up. He gives us the words to say and as we stretch forth in faith, He confirms the words out of our mouths with many miraculous signs. No experience is necessary for this to happen. But we must believe and be willing to reach out where we have not gone before knowing, in faith, that He will be there. Reach out today.~ DickEvans.org

Only God Has The Answer

We need to stop looking in all the Christian books for answers. Others don't have all the answers to our questions. Only God does. Don't get me wrong. All of those resources that we use are good. But they are not the source of Truth. They are explanations of what others discovered. Some of those discoveries may have been through revelation from the Father. Some are simply the analysis of man. How do we find out which is which, which to believe? Ask the Father and He will reveal all to you. He will reveal it one step at a time. Listen for His voice. ~ DickEvans.org

Our Choices

Our choices get us to the next step. The Holy Spirit is always advising, nudging, and comforting us. When we stop being alert and stop praying, temptation sneaks in and we stop listening to His voice. And then we get ourselves in trouble.~ DickEvans.org

Bondservants

I believe the Father expects us to be listening for His voice and walking in His will daily. We are bondservants to Christ. We are His hands and His voice to others here on earth. ~ DickEvans.org

Give It All

He wants all of us, all of the time. It is not important to God that we look better or as good as everyone else. It is not important that we give as much as the next person. But it is important that we are willing to give our all. ~ DickEvans.org

God Answers

God does answer our prayers. We can say to the mountain, 'MOVE!' And it must move, If we believe and do not doubt. ~ DickEvans.org

How Many Toys

It is not how many toys we accumulate or how many vacations we took that counts in the end; it is our relationship with God. ~ DickEvans.org

Choices

Our day to day choices get us to receive Him and become believers. Then our day to day choices transform us into who He has for us to become. ~ DickEvans.org

Pray It Through

The next time someone asks you to pray for that same situation you prayed for last week, do it. Don't give up on them. And when you see someone else come forward asking for prayer, again and again, stretch forth your hands as well. Pray every situation through to its manifestation. ~ DickEvans.org

Command Healing

As believers, we each have the right and the authority to command healing in the body of someone standing right in front of us and in the body of someone else miles away. He gave that right to each believer on the day we accepted Jesus into our heart. ~ DickEvans.org

Do Not Be Discouraged

Do not be discouraged as you step out in your belief to lay hands on the sick. Continue to reach out in faith knowing the power in that touch is because Christ is in you. And like Jesus and the disciples, do not be discouraged by their unbelief. ~ DickEvans.org

Focus

We need to focus on what Holy Spirit has to say to us. We need to ignore the comments of others and move forward with the Truth. As Jesus said, "Don't be afraid. Just trust me." ~ DickEvans.org

Stay Open

As we stay open, Holy Spirit opens up to us and a fresh understanding opens up in us. But the key is that we stay open. We listen and obey. As we do that we are given more and more fresh manna each day. ~ DickEvans.org

ReTasked

Let us not try to judge the tasks others are given. Rather let us look to what the Father has for us to do, for how He desires to re-task us. ~ DickEvans.org

Preach It

Preaching the word does is about living the word. Preach by being who you are, in Christ. And let Him speak to others by allowing Christ to show through you.~ DickEvans.org
