Grow As You Go

Digging deep in the Word of God and applying it to our daily life gives us the experiential knowledge we need to be the workers He has called us to be. Talents

God has given each of us talents, things that we are good at. It is in the pursuit of these things that we find our happiness at work. However, all work and no play can be just as dangerous as laziness. We must allow time to be with God and to enjoy the style of life He has allowed us to have. Triple Branded Cord

We must build our relationships with other believers so we can be that triple-branded cord. First, we must work on our relationship with our maker, our Father God. It all begins with our communication with Him. ~ DickEvans.org

Be Careful

We must be careful not to forge forward on our plan ignoring God like we always used to. As believers, we are pulled towards God. The Holy Spirit nudges us daily. So, listen to that still small voice and work the plan. ~ DickEvans.org

Logic

Logic is an important part of our makeup. Things have to fit into a pattern for us to accept them. Only God can help us believe the unbelievable. It is only He who can help us accept the truth no matter how it differs from the reality we know. It takes faith on our part to grab hold of it. Reactions

Whatever we post is received and resent in one way or another. Our words both written and spoken are powerful and can build up or destroy. Every action has a reaction. And love is reflected in love. ~ DickEvans.org

Daily Task

The slate was wiped clean when Jesus died for us on the Cross. As the Holy Spirit opens our understanding about transgressions we fall into, we are to listen and repent. We are to change our ways as we discover our error. This is a daily task for each of us. ~ DickEvans.org

Eat His Word

The best source for all we need is God’s Word. We should be eating it up every day, pouring through its pages as He leads us. He will show us what we need to know to walk the walk He has destined us to walk. ~ DickEvans.org

Desires

Our desires need to come from Holy Spirit and our relationship with Him. If instead they are born out of the latest marketing campaign or by a need to do better than our friends and neighbors, we will always have less then we need. ~ DickEvans.org

Listen

We must listen to the Holy Spirit. He will guide us to those who can speak into our lives giving us the encouragement to press on. ~ DickEvans.org

Prosperity

Prosperity does not always mean finances. We prosper as our soul prospers. As we prosper, He will fill us with riches in many ways; He will fill us with wisdom, understanding, and more. So let us start tomorrow with God and allow Him to direct our steps away from idleness. ~ DickEvans.org

Walk In It

God wants us to look to Him first. When we let Him be in control and go before us each day, we walk in His perfection. We can never reach perfection no matter how much we try. Only through our dependence on Him can we walk in it. ~ DickEvans.org

God Knows

God knows everything about us. It does not matter if we are saved or not, we are His children and He knows all. We can’t fool God; not even some of the time. ~ DickEvans.org

His Messengers

God looks to the heart. As we reach out to Him, He fills us with more of His nature and as we go about our daily lives, He gives us a message for those that we meet. No matter what our success level in society, we become His messengers. ~ DickEvans.org

Be Bold

I believe God wants us to step out and speak up. We are but the vessel He chooses for the task at hand. Let us not hide in a corner waiting for someone else to do His work. Take that risk and be bold. ~ DickEvans.org

The Message

We are to spread the good news everywhere. Some will hear and heed the message. Some will ignore it. Others may even strike out at the messenger. None of that matters. All that matters is that we obey the command to take the gospel message, a message of repentance to all the nations. ~ DickEvans.org

Opportunities

When we are walking the path God lays out for us each day opportunities will open up for us along the way. We do not have to lean to our own understanding to see results. We just have to lean to Him. ~ DickEvans.org

God Keeps Quiet

Unlike other people in our life that might be quick to point out our shortcomings, God keeps quiet. He waits for us to ask Him to point out those things that offend Him. Then can we really be open to listen to Him and let Him guide us along the path to everlasting life. ~ DickEvans.org

God's Hand

Not only does he precede and follow us, but God also sent the Holy Spirit to reside within us. He comforts and guides us daily, as we allow Him. God’s hand is always on our head, blessing us as we do His will. ~ DickEvans.org

Repent

Being a believer does not give us a “Get out of Sin Free” card to be used all the time. We are to not sin anymore. But we do slip up. All we have to do is thank Him for his forgiveness and repent; change our thinking by focusing on Jesus and not on our sin. ~ DickEvans.org

Obey

As we work and play in this evil world, the Holy Spirit is right here to direct us down the right side of the street. We only have to listen for His instructions. As we obey them, He keeps us safe. ~ DickEvans.org

Trials

As trials come our way, let’s make an effort to patiently endure them even if our old nature wants to strike out with impatience or even anger. Lean on Holy Spirit for guidance and encouragement. He will never leave us or fail us. He is always with us no matter how difficult the trial. ~ DickEvans.org

Tuned In

We must ask God to open our eyes and our ears each day so we are tuned in to what He has for us to do. When we are tuned in, He will do miraculous things as we walk forth doing His work. ~ DickEvans.org

Life Insurance

Others watch to see if we are really who we claim to be; they look to see how we treat others; how we live our life. There are many who are watching you that need to get the same eternal life insurance policy that you have. ~ DickEvans.org

God Saves

It is God that saves us; not special words or special ministers or special meetings. We testify about Jesus in our lives and others listen. However, we do not save them. God does it all. So let us tell our story to someone new today and watch what God does. ~ DickEvans.org

Love One Another

By loving one another we accept others just where they are at. If other believers rub us the wrong way, we look past the error to the love that is inside of them; to Christ within. ~ DickEvans.org

Wisdom

Ask for the wisdom to know what is from God and always check what you see against the Word of God. Make sure the gospel that is being preached lines up with the Word, then the signs that follow will be from the one true God. ~ DickEvans.org
