They Never Heard

We have friends that do not know Jesus. If they never hear about Him, they will never have an opportunity to become a believer. We cannot make them believe. However, if we never tell them, we never give them the opportunity to choose eternal life or death. ~ DickEvans.org

If we continue to isolate ourselves and avoid being in the presence of those we consider sinners, we may be missing out. We may never get to tell the story to many that need to hear.

Woe To Those

No Greater Gift

Need To Be Free

Not Memorized Words

WYSIWYG

As believers, we are on a constant quest for a deeper relationship with God. We are only fooling ourselves if we believe that occurs in praise and worship alone. He wants all of us, all the time. He wants a WYSIWYG relationship with us, honoring Him with our lips and our hearts. ~ DickEvans.org

Seek Counsel

When we do have a disagreement with another Christian, an argument is not an answer. The best choice is to seek the counsel of someone that both can look up to. ~ DickEvans.org

Share

As we share our lives we develop close bonds. We learn to really love and care for each other. We love them for their good points and for their bad points. Together, with Christ’s help, we can overcome any obstacle. ~ DickEvans.org

Watch Out

We must watch out for the traps some may place in our path. Recall that the enemy comes to lie, cheat, and to steal. We cannot let them distract us from the goal. ~ DickEvans.org

Our Actions

After an election, we get to see if the signposts were true. The real person is revealed in their actions. As others look at our lives, they get to see that we are truly His disciples by the love we have for one another. ~ DickEvans.org

Seeds

Like scattering seed, we sow the good news wherever we go. When it is rejected we don’t stick around and give some more. No, we move on to find those that are ready to receive the pearls we have to share. ~ DickEvans.org

As We Go

Jesus spent many months teaching His disciples. He told them and He showed them. They knew what to do, but even they had to be pushed out. As we do what He has trained us for, we truly grow. As we go and do, blessings will fall in our path. ~ DickEvans.org

Our Wellness

Many times, we reach out to medical science instead of reaching out for the healing that is ours for the asking. He is our healer, our source of wellness. ~ DickEvans.org

The Journey

The journey we are on with Jesus cannot be completed alone. We can never learn all we need to learn. The journey is a never-ending one that leads us to an eternity with Him. ~ DickEvans.org

Pray

As we pray, we must stay alert. Prayer is not a one-way thing. If we stay alert and listen, God will respond to our prayer in many ways. And in all our prayers we are to be thankful for what He has already provided. ~ DickEvans.org

Exercise

Faith needs exercise. Like a muscle, the more we use it the stronger it gets. And the Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. So take time today to listen for His voice, then step out in faith to do the works He has for you. ~ DickEvans.org

He Shows Up

Instead of looking towards our personal goals and accomplishments, God wants us to come to Him. He wants to show us His love and compassion. When we push to get our stuff done by doing it all by our self, we may miss hearing His voice as He tries to get our attention. However, as we wait for Him to help, He shows up just at the right time. ~ DickEvans.org

Depend On God

We need to work at depending on God in all that we do. He does not want what we say to others to ruin our life or turn the entire course of it into a blazing flame of destruction. He has a plan for us, but it is up to us to listen for His guidance in all that we say and do. ~ DickEvans.org

The Same Power

As believers full of God’s grace and power, we too will perform amazing miracles and signs among the people. We have the same power today, released by Faith. ~ DickEvans.org

God Looks Out For Us

When we reach out and ask God to provide for us, we must be careful that what we are asking has to do with His will. We must be sure our request lines up with His word. He will never disappoint us, but as our earthly parents do, He is always looking out for our best interest. ~ DickEvans.org

Delegates

As believers, all of us are God’s delegates. In the grocery store, at the ball field, in the hockey arena, in school cafeterias, wherever we go, we are His delegates. Our Job To Tell

God makes them ready to hear the message. It is our job to tell. Those He has chosen to hear will listen to the story we tell and believe. They will be saved. ~ DickEvans.org

Resist

Resist the devil and he must flee. When thoughts of doubt creep in, we must resist them and thank God for the opportunities He has placed in our path. We must stop allowing the devil to have any say in our walk. ~ DickEvans.org

Be Content

Philippians 4:11-13 NIV
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

As we stay indoors in our homes waiting for the "all clear" to be sounded it may seem hard to think about being content.

How are we to be content with all the bad news coming at us?

God is for us not against us. Whatever the enemy has to send into the world to come against us God will protect us. God is in control and will turn everything around for our benefit.

We have not been given a spirit of fear but a sound mind. He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Nothing shall harm us.

Look to who we are in Christ and not who the world says we are. Use wisdom as you go into the world but go in full assurance of victory.

Father, thank you for another day in our life with you. Thank you for your grace. May we be content right where we are, listening for Your voice and following it, knowing You will lead us into restful green pastures and guide us along paths of righteousness.

Thank you for our health as we endure in these human bodies. May they serve us well as we follow you.

Keep us on track today. Always ready to answer the call you have for us. Ready moment to moment.

May all our actions and words spoken today bless others and bless you Holy Spirit. May Your presence and love shine through us.

Joyful

Open The Book

Exercise Plan

Tell Your Story

Those that have faith in Jesus are set apart as God’s people. God had to open our ears before we were able to hear. Then, when we heard the messenger God sent to us we turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God.
