Just because we are saved does not mean that we are free from sin or free to sin. Our sin has been forgiven. The slate was wiped clean when we gave our lives over to Him, when Jesus died for us on the Cross. As the Holy Spirit opens our understanding about those transgressions we fall into, we are to listen and repent. We are to change our ways as we discover our error.
