Omnipresent

The Lord is close by, all the time. He is omnipresent. He awaits our call. If we reach out and call on Him sincerely, He will respond. How do I know that? I know that because He tells us so. ~ DickEvans.org

No Condemnation

So nobody can throw those old sins back in our face because we are a new person in Christ. We can no longer be condemned for who we used to be and what we used to do. Or for our current or future transgressions. ~ DickEvans.org

Pursue Christ

It is in Christ that true happiness is found. This does not mean that you cannot have money to enjoy the things of this world if you have Him in your life. No, it means that you will no longer be pursuing money. And in your pursuit of Him, you will find your reward. ~ DickEvans.org

It Is Done

John 19:28-30 NKJV
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

It is not about what God is going to do for us. He has already done it. Jesus' last word before He gave up His spirit on the cross were "It is finished". All He came to earth to do was finished. It was done.

Father God sent his son to earth to walk as man. To be the one to bring reconciliation between man and Father God. To die on a cross to redeem all of mankind. To remove anything that had come between mankind and the Father .

Jesus took it all on him. No longer do we beg God to do for us. It has already happened. We need to get our head straight and thank Him.

Thank Him for the healing he gave us at the cross. Thank Him for forever forgiving us. For never remembering our sin. Thank Him for his grace. Thank Him for his favor on our life. Thank Holy Spirit for being in us to comfort us. To guide us. To teach us.

It is time for us to stop being sin conscious and become grace conscious. It is time to walk away from our past into the destiny the Father has for us.

Free

Jesus died for us to be free. Not free to do what we want. Not free to sin. Free from the penalty for our sins, past, present, and forever. ~ DickEvans.org
