What Others Think

Knowing, loving, and following God is not a complex task. Telling others about Him does not have to be complex either. As the Father leads we just have to open our mouths and let the Holy Spirit fill them with the words to be said. ~ DickEvans.org

Spread The News

Stop being concerned when someone rejects the message about Jesus you have for them. Dust off your feet and move on to the next. For it is our mission to spread the news to those who have ears to hear. ~ DickEvans.org 

Happiness

Our happiness must happen within. We must be happy with ourselves and for that to happen we must have the peace of Christ. As believers, we have the Holy Spirit in us to comfort and guide us each day. ~ DickEvans.org

Give It Up

Isn't it time for each of us to think about what we are willing to give up? God gave His Son up for us. What can we give up? DickEvans.org

Ask For Wisdom

As believers, as Godly people, He gives us much. The wisdom of the Creator of all is ours for the asking. The Holy Spirit awaits our search words. We just have to ask. Turn To God

Our Truth Worth

Our true worth is in our relationship with God. Have we accepted His Son as our Lord and Savior? Are we a true believer? For it is in that transformation walk that we will find our true reward. ~ DickEvans.org

Turn Off World

The best teacher is the Lord. When we became a believer, He sent the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts and comfort us, guide us and teach us. Isn't it time we turned off the world and took time to listen? ~ DickEvans.org 

He Has A Plan

God wants all of us. He has a plan. So let's stop fooling ourselves. It is not what others perceive us to be that counts. It is what He knows us to be. It is about our relationship with Him. ~ DickEvans.org

Eyes To See

Our Example

Be That Light

As we walk into the world each day, we take His light into dark places. Others see it. When God calls they sense it. When they sense it they find that little seed of faith that was planted in them from creation. It awakens and they begin to water it. So Go into the world and be that light today. ~ DickEvans.org

Forgive

Jesus forgave all our sins, but we keep the old fires burning. Isn't it time that we got with the program? If He can forgive, why can't we? If He can forget, why can't we? ~ DickEvans.org

We Have It All

We Need Meat

Our journey has nothing to do with earthly time. It has to do with digesting the milk we receive from our mentors and in His Word to the point that we need meat to chew on. It is meat that is needed for real growth. And to get meat we have to allow the Holy Spirit to take us out of the box, out of our comfort zone. ~ DickEvans.org

Traveling On

The Bible encourages us and instructs us. The more we let it become part of us and therefore the more we let Him become part of us, the further along we travel on our transformation journey. ~ DickEvans.org

Dig In

Good Things

All the good things God has us to do for others should not stop at the doors of the church. It extends to all His people in every area of our lives. ~ DickEvans.org

Oaths

In James 5:12, God's Word tells us never to take an oath, period. This tells me that oaths are openings for the enemy to slide in and that is not what I want to happen in me. I want all the doors closed. I want to abide by His Word in my life. ~ DickEvans.org

Judging

The only one we should be criticizing or judging is our self. We know what God wants of us and our job is to obey Him, not judge others. ~ DickEvans.org

Live the Life

Let each of us live the life God has for us doing the good deeds that pour forth. And in that His light will shine in dark places and His love will prevail. ~ DickEvans.org

Welcome

All are God's children and we must remember what He said in Luke 9:48 "Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest." ~ DickEvans.org

Right Decisions

How often are our children making decisions based on peer pressure instead of through the process of right-thinking? As they see us led by the Holy Spirit, led by God to make right decisions based on Truth, they will be more apt to do the same. ~ DickEvans.org

Transform

It is time we stopped trying to fool ourselves by the same perception we give to others. It is not that person in the mirror that we really are, it is the person behind the mirror. It is time to let God transform us so other's perception of us is truly us. ~ DickEvans.org
